Dyscarnate: Decibel Magazine Unleashes ‘Iron Strengthens Iron’
With All Their Might is the impending third full-length from UK death metal trio Dyscarnate. Set for release via Unique Leader Records on September 15th, the eight-track offering was captured by Stu McKay (Ingested, Acrania et al) at Studio 6 in England and mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Ancient, Aborted, Volbeat, Evergrey et al) at Hansen Studios in Denmark.
In advance of its release, Decibel Magazine today unveils the band’s Tom Bohan-directed performance video for first single ‘Iron Strengthens Iron’ at THIS LOCATION.
“With All Their Might is the sound of us nailing our colors to the mast in no uncertain terms,” issues the band of their latest release. “We’ve always worked on each new album as its own entity, and feel the whole thing needs to flow as one cohesive piece. Every song has its place on the record, but the lyrics and feel of each one reflects a signature theme. We feel that while this record is the most complete thing we’ve ever done, it’s also the most varied, dynamic, and evolved we have ever been. We have written this album for only ourselves, and as a result feel we have something our fans will really connect to.”
Dyscarnate has long been flying the flag for UK death metal all over the world. Having toured across Australia, Europe, Indonesia, Israel, Russia, and more, fans can expect to see the three-piece powerhouse’s dominance to spread even further in the coming year. Following the release of the debut EP Annihilate To Liberate in 2008, Dyscarnate were met with overwhelming feedback from national magazines, record labels, and fans alike which consequently led to a multi-album deal with the UK’s Siege Of Amida Records. The band’s debut full-length Enduring The Massacre earned the tag of “best new death metal band in the UK, without question,” by Terrorizer Magazine. Dyscarnate toured the album extensively and internationally with such high-profile names as The Black Dahlia Murder, Despised Icon, Cephalic Carnage, and Psycroptic, then swiftly followed up the success of their debut. Cited as, “one of the best death metal albums to come out of the UK in the last twenty years” by Metal Hammer’s Dom Lawson, Dyscarnate’s devastating second record, 2012’s And So It Came To Pass, was met with an unprecedented reaction from critics and fans globally with Metal Hammer crowning the band, “the new kings of UK death,” and Terrorizer calling the album “the freshest breath of air.” Keen to capitalize on their success in the press, Dyscarnate set out on a blitzkrieg touring schedule, which saw them fly the flag for British extreme music across Australia, Israel, Indonesia, Russia, and Europe, sharing stages with such names as Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Fear Factory, Gojira, and Decapitated among countless others.
Dyscarnate’s fittingly-titled With All Their Might will see release this fall on new label home, Unique Leader Records. Three men, one purpose, one sound. Always outnumbered, never outgunned.
