Arceye Join Forces With Future PR & Hostile Media
UK death thrashers Arceye have joined forces with Future PR in advance of the band’s sophomore album ‘At First Light’ which will be released worldwide later this year via Hostile Media.
The band commented on the partnership: “We are very excited to work with Future PR on our second album ‘At First Light’. They have been professional, friendly and together we can’t wait for the world to hear the new album.”
Arceye is a four-piece death/thrash metal band from Shrewsbury UK. Since forming in 2004 with a hand full of riffs and heavy music as their drive, they have been relentlessly unleashing their brand of extreme metal to the masses.
In 2009 they released their debut album ‘The Divide Between Chaos & Order’ which was mastered by studio guru Russ Russell (Evile, Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir) and has been hailed as ‘A Searing Cross-Genre Metal Eruption From The UK Underground.’
Since the release of ‘The Divide Between Chaos & Order’ Arceye have supported the likes of Decapitated, Man Must Die, Beholder, Finntroll & Kataklsym. They also closed The New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2010 with over 500 people cramming into the tent to see them. One Metal said: ‘Judging by the gathered masses packed into the relatively small marquee Arceye have established themselves a strong fan base.’
2011 saw Arceye release a brand new music video for ‘Time And Tide’, a track which was also featured on the cover mount CD’s of Terrorizer & Metal Hammer. 2011 also saw the band play the 3rd stage at Hammerfest with overwhelmingly good feedback from fans & critics alike.
Now proudly endorsed by Dean Guitars and +Battery energy drink Arceye have returned to the studio and recorded their highly anticipated sophomore album ‘At First Light’ with the enlistment of renowned producer Scott Atkins (Sylosis, Cradle Of Filth, Amon Amarth, Gamma Bomb) and with the recent addition of former The Hollow Earth Theory drummer Craig Mackay. ‘At First Light’ has shaped up to be “tighter, faster and way more aggressive”.
Future PR spoke of of the co-operation: ‘Arceye got in touch with us with a view to working with us on the promotion of their upcoming album ‘At First Light.’ 30 seconds into the first song on the album and we were off our chairs. We couldn’t contain the excitement! Referring back to the last Arceye album ‘At First Light’ is a major step forward not only in terms of song writing but also production which, to be fair, is to be expected having someone like Scott Atkins behind the desk. We’re really looking forward to working with these highly talented young chaps.’
Details for the album will be released in due course including artwork and a release date. Watch this space!
